PBSS specialise in the assessment and treatment of problem behaviour, whether the behaviour is challenging, risky and/or illegal. We provide individual and group-based interventions in prisons and the community and regularly develop and deliver training and workshops for organisations. PBSS are registered to provide behaviour support and therapeutic services under the NDIS and have extensive experience working with individuals presenting with cognitive impairment. A forensic organisation at heart, PBSS continue to frequently provide offence-specific treatment and conduct risk assessments for court and government departments.

PBSS provide specialist behaviour support to individuals in a range of settings who exhibit complex and challenging behaviours of concern, with a focus on reducing the need for restrictive intervention. These services include functional behaviour assessments, development and implementation of behaviour support plans, training and consultation for care teams and support staff, as well as behavioural intervention with participants.

Workshops
PBSS specialise in providing training and support for organisations and professionals on a range of topics related to the assessment, treatment and management complex behavioural issues. We develop and deliver training, lecture style seminars and group-based workshops, tailoring packages to suit the needs of the organisation.
PBSS also provide supervision to a range of allied health professionals, including those with AHPRA related requirements and other professionals working with people within the criminal justice system. PBSS provide both individual clinical supervision and group based reflective practice for professionals of all backgrounds. We understand that often there is a need for expert input into the development and delivery of support strategies, particularly in relation to high risk and complex behaviours, and so we also provide consultation related to high risk and complex behaviours for organisations.
